The Barcelona Burns Club

THE BARCELONA BURNS CLUB

The idea to form the Barcelona Burns Club grew out of the crisp and early dew of a clear and bright morning after the eighth anniversary event of the Sarría Burns Society.A group of friends first gathered towards the end of the month of January in the year of our Lord two thousand to celebrate the Bard’s birthday, in the district of Sarria, Barcelona.Robert Burns is an icon to all sons and daughters of Scotland and his power of persuasive spirit reaches far beyond the shores of his native land.
The Barcelona Burns Club has been meeting and holding events since the year 2000. In this section you will find images, info and documents relating to the events held. Further information will be added as we organise and hold future events.
